HeartGift Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
organization comprised of pediatric
cardiothoracic surgeons, physicians, hospitals
and volunteers dedicated to providing lifesaving
heart surgery to disadvantaged children from
developing countries at no cost to their
families.

| She was born March 15, 2005 in
Belize. She was diagnosed with a
Ventricular Septal Defect and an Atrial
Septal Defect (in layman's terms, she
had a hole in the wall between the upper
two pumping chambers of her heart, AND a
hole in the wall between the lower two
chambers). Her corrective open-heart
surgery was performed by Dr. Kenneth Fox
on August 3, 2005. She was our youngest
HeartGift patient to date. Now she's at
home in Belize, happy and healthy :) |
